It's been really frustrating trying to get online using the Unwired service today! The modem keeps dropping the signal. I keep getting the bloody blinking signal. Infact, I have never had a good experience using their service. The only thing good about them is the fact they're wireless and I don't have a landline to get online.

I live in fairly affluent suburb of Namadi Heights and the signal in the area is nothing short of shocking. You'd think they'd try a bit harder to provide a decent service in an area where there are so many potential customers, but rationale escapes them me thinks!

I even signed up to the Kidanet service a few months ago. After waiting for some weeks for their equipment to arrive, they came around to test the signal at my place. Obviously they couldn't get a decent signal so, I had to opt for another location. To date they haven't contacted us to implement the service in the other location.

It's not like I live in deep gorge or anything, but to have such pathetic wireless signals in the area show's the commitment by the ISP's to provide a decent service. I think I might give Connect a try, but I have heard horror stories about them. So I'll leave them to be my last resort.

But today and right now, Unwired Sucks!
